Key responsabilities: 

Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors to promote good procurement practice with regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing, draft an appropriate service level agreement to properly evaluate the performance of suppliers.

Assess with internal team members (operational staff) to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.

Prepare and draft the procurement documentation of the project including RFQ, RFP and ITB as well as micro purchasing and other direct sourcing when applicable.

Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment, and supplier performance, monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier performance according to an appropriate Service Level Agreement on a continuous basis, control and monitor expenses against approved budgets and develop sourcing strategies, cost saving budgeting, and targeting.

Set and plan how to achieve payment terms negotiation, optimization, and maintain contracts with vendors; review and update inventory as required.

Receive orders from various departments, initiate and keep track of orders, receive, inspect, and distribute orders, reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies after monitor delivery times to ensure they are on time.

Maintain good relationships with suppliers and renegotiate prices on a regular basis upon daily records and database update, and administration and reporting requirements as necessary.

Prepare all PO related to the daily purchases related to Petty cash and the related receiving notes.

Ensuring that invoices received reconcile to purchase orders and created and matching receipts to purchase orders.

Support Restart’s stock manager in all activities related to Stock management and inventory control.

Coordinate with IT provider on all office equipment and IT related issues; network problems, printer problem, laptops needs updates or windows.

Control Laboratory and radiology contract through comparing each beneficiary statement with every test conducted to the prices list in the contract

Qualifications:

1 to 2 years of experience in logistics and procurement in for-profit or non-for-profit sector.

Good knowledge of the social and economic Lebanese context and the Lebanese market.

Computer and technical skills (including software knowledge).

team spirit, high ethical standards and coordination skills.

Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.
