FIRST Step Together Association for special education, is a Non Governmental Organization working with children, adolescent and adults who have cognitive impairments, communication disorders, psycho-motor difficulties, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, hyperactivity, behavioral and psycho-social problems.
FISTA is a founder member of the Eastern Mediterranean Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry & Allied Professions (EMACAPAP) and a member of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP).

FISTA, First Step Together Association , is an NGO located in North Lebanon, founded in 1993,Our mission is to Provide education, vocational, and professional rehabilitation for persons with disabilities and Promote their rights . FISTA strictly follows zero tolerance policy and as such advises its suppliers not to offer any gift, favor, hospitality, etc. to its staff. FISTA has a Zero tolerance approach toward sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse and child abuse. We carefully examine all allegation and investigate and take appropriate disciplinary action where it is needed.

FISTA First Step Together Association for special education, invites qualified General Contractors registered with the Government of Lebanon to submit their firm offers for Renovations of both FISTA Akkar Facility and FISTA Tripoli Facility.

This project is considered of high emergency and is entitled for immediate execution following the award of contract.

The purpose of FISTA’s activities is to protect, educate and ensure respect for children with disabilities independently from any political, financial or military objective and making no distinctions on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religious belief, class or political opinions.
