Soliciting the services of Peer reviewers to conduct a review of the Global City Forest Planning Digital Tool – Needs and Gap Assessment Report

The Metropolitan Landscape Research Lab team at the American University of Beirut is currently seeking qualified experts to serve as peer reviewers for the Needs and Gaps Assessment report for the “Global City Forest - Digital Planning Tool” (GCF-DPT) as part of a project supported by the Global EbA Fund.

The objective of this peer review is to provide independent, unbiased and constructive feedback on the final report of the needs and gap assessment for the GCF-DPT. Three Peer-Reviewers will be selected to conduct three independent reviews.

The Global City Forest is a long-term project aiming to increase current and future urban tree canopies in cities to contribute to global temperature reduction and other environmental pressures. The first phase of the project is to develop a digital planning tool. This tool aims to aid cities to plan for urban tree canopy at multiple scales with multiple functionalities integrated in one platform. The final report of the needs and gaps assessment will undergo a peer review process by third-party experts to assess the findings and recommendations for the GCF-DPT.
