Organizational Strategic Planning Consultant

I’mpossible is looking for Organizational Strategic Planning Consultant with whom I’mpossible can establish a formal relationship to map-out a comprehensive transformation to strengthen its organizational strategy and planning meticulously for the next five years. The consultant is requested to starts with a deep dive into the current state through internal analysis, involving past strategy, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

 

The consultant will also help refine the mission and vision collaboratively, resonating with the organization's purpose and strategic direction. This input will inform the drafting of a new strategy, emphasizing clear objectives, performance metrics, and employee well-being. This comprehensive effort involves the participation of all team members in addition to the board members and external stakeholders as relevant.

  

Roles and Responsibilities

The position holder will more specifically have the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting a deep dive into the current state through internal analysis, reviewing past strategy, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Facilitating interactive participatory workshops for diverse employee engagement.
  • Collaboratively refining mission and vision with input from all stakeholders.
  • Development of the upgraded mission and vision, and setting strategic goals and developing a 5 years strategy for I'm Possible

  • Establishing continuous feedback loops for revisions, clarity, and alignment.
  • Implementing robust evaluation systems for continuous monitoring and adaptation.
  • Other tasks as identified are needed in the rapid assessment.
  • Training and coaching.

 

 Required Profile  

 

Education

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Management, Strategic Planning, Development Studies or a related field and preferably comparable experience in organizational strategic planning.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in organizational planning and framework in the humanitarian sectors.
  • Prior experience in training on strategic planning.
  • Prior experience in developing Organizational Strategic Planning Frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with INGOs and understanding international best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting evaluations of community projects.  
  • Track record and experience in relevant organizational fields.
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to communicate and work closely with local partners, community members, and other stakeholders
