Consultancy Opportunity: Applied Theatre Workshop for Earthquake Relief Personnel (Damascus)

Training/Workshop Overview:

1. Training Workshop Program: Conduct a 5-day training program 15 – 20 participants using theatre as a tool for personal development and psychosocial support.

Responsibilities: The consultant will:

1. Design & Conduct: Develop and lead Applied Theatre sessions.
2. Create a Supportive Environment: Foster a supportive atmosphere for participant engagement.
3. Utilize Techniques: Employ drama techniques, role-play, and creativity.
4. Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders for overall rehabilitation goals.
5. Adhere to Guidelines: Ensure adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Consultancy Proposal: Seeking proposals to design and implement the Applied Theatre Workshop:

1. Program Design: Design a tailored applied theatre program for community resilience.
2. Evaluation: Evaluate program impact and produce a comprehensive report.

Qualifications:

1. BA or MA in theatre, preferably applied theatre, drama therapy, interactive theatre, or social theatre.
2. Experience in community-based interventions.
3. Experience in facilitating theatre or drama therapy sessions, preferably in unique settings.
4. Strong facilitation and training skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity.
7. Proven experience in the "Do No Harm" approach, and willingness to abide by the safeguarding policies.
