ABOUT INJAZ LEBANON

INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.

Overview

INJAZ Lebanon is seeking a skilled Music Instrument Trainer to lead inspiring workshops as part of a comprehensive music training program. This initiative aims to empower young individuals aged between 17 and 28 by providing engaging training suitable for both beginners and those with prior knowledge. The Music Trainer will play a pivotal role in fostering musical skills, artistic expression, and a love for music among participants.

Objectives

The objective of the music instrument training program is to empower scout young individuals aged between 17 and 28 by providing comprehensive training in playing musical instruments, for example the trumpet, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor and saxophone. The program aims to cultivate musical skills, enhance participants' understanding of these instruments, and foster a love for music. The Music Instrument Trainer will play a central role in creating a dynamic learning environment that caters to both beginners and those with prior knowledge.

Scope of Work

Duration and Schedule:

• The training program will span 8 days.
• Each workshop day will consist of 1.5 hours, resulting in a total of 12 training hours.

The Music Instrument Trainer is expected to cover a diverse curriculum that includes the following key elements:

• Introduction and Instrumental Basics, and Musical Instruments
• Understanding the Music Scale: (Introduction to the concept of musical scales- Explanation of major and minor scales -Practical exercises to identify and sing different scales- Application of scales in playing instruments and creating melodies)
• Performance Techniques and Confidence-Building
• Cultural and Folk Music
• Event Planning and Final Rehearsal
