LEED Green Associate™ Exam Preparation Online Workshop
Description:
Green buildings respect the environmental impacts of the extraction of materials, deliver cost savings and improved value to their owners, conserve energy and water consumption, and provide a healthy indoor environment for the people who live and work in them. This course is an introduction to the concepts of sustainable, high performance Green Building, as well as methods for design, construction and evaluation. The emphasis of this workshop is on reviewing the fundamentals of the LEED®V.4 (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Rating System and the relevant LEED certification process as per LEED V.4 requirements.
-Who should apply for LEED GA?
All industry professionals seeking to work on green projects and more particularly those seeking either to become LEED professionals (LEED Green Associates™)and/or work on LEED projects, including, but not limited to, the following: Architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, developers, building owners, client representatives, environmental, health and safety managers, sustainability managers, facility managers and students in the field of Architecture, Engineering and Construction.
-LEED GA Certification Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites or eligibility requirements. However, it is recommended that you have exposure to LEED and green building concepts through education, volunteering, or work experience.

• Dates: October 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, and 25, 2022. (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Location: Online sessions via Zoom and complemented by the Amideast Online Learning Management System
• Duration: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
