Building the resilience of vulnerable Lebanese and refugee communities amidst multi-faceted crises
Description
The project aims to increase the resilience and social stability of 12,600 Lebanese and refugee women, men, girls, and boys affected by the multi-faceted crises in Lebanon.
The outcomes include 1. Crisis-affected populations in Tripoli and the Beddawi Camp, particularly women and youth, have strengthened agency and improved access to protection and basic services, and 2. Crisis-affected populations and local actors in Tripoli and the Beddawi Camp are active agents in the promotion of protection, resilience, and social stability. The project is implemented in partnership with Association Najdeh, Utopia, and ABAAD with the financial support of the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).
Initiatives done under this project tackle various themes including reusable pads manufacturing, reusable pads distribution, equipping Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs), service mapping, solid waste, drug addiction, electronic addiction and stress level elevation, women safe zone, and an environmental initiative.

Objective
Oxfam is looking to hire a videographer to:
- Take still pictures and raw videos/footages of each of the initiatives happening under this project, to finally produce one final edited and designed video that encompasses all initiatives at the end [around 6 minutes], focusing on the impact of the initiatives done under this project.
The purpose is to:
• Reach a wider audience, shed light on the impact of the project on the resilience of vulnerable Lebanese and refugee communities amidst multi-faceted crises, publish on social media, and disseminate to stakeholders, donors, and the wider audience of partners and interested public, etc.

Format
The raw videos and still pictures of each initiative will feature people at the trainings and events done under the project and highlighting their success, and the images will feature participants, trainees, and women who are actively participating in the trainings and activities.
The final video will be designed and edited to include brief footages of all the initiatives together.

Job Description

The consultant will provide the following deliverables and allow for comments and proposed revisions on them:

- Develop a comprehensive action plan and timeline for production in collaboration with Oxfam

- Develop the concept and the script in collaboration with Oxfam

- Shoot the videos and take the pictures in areas where the activities will take place (to be specified by Oxfam) in North Lebanon

- Provide English subtitles for the final video

- Provide Oxfam with all the pictures and footages
- Provide Oxfam with A-Roll and B-Roll material

- Edit and produce the final video (rounds of edits based on Oxfam’s feedback

) - Provide a snippet of the final video (20 seconds maximum) to be used for social media

- Edit pictures taken based on the shooting list

- Follow Oxfam and donor's guidelines (which will be made available by Oxfam)

Oxfam will:

- Support in providing background context on the project, identifying characters, making sure consent is taken, and coordinating on the shooting days and shooting guidelines.

- Approve the action plan and timeline.

- Provide rounds of feedback and approve the final product.

Qualifications

- Availability to start in September 2022, and to travel to North Lebanon for the shooting of pictures and videos.

- Skills and experience in videography, photography, and editing videos and photos.

- Experience in ideation and content creation (for photography and videography).

- Familiarity with the context of vulnerable Lebanese and refugee communities amidst multi-faceted crises in North Lebanon.

- Previous experience working with I/NGOs in Lebanon in similar contexts.

- Working languages: English and Arabic

- Excellent coordination and communication skills, flexible attitude, and respect for deadlines

Duration: End of August 2022 to end of November 2022. Up to 15 shooting days.
