2 - Brief presentation of the project:

The general objective of the Social Justice Incubation Program under SEE Change is to contribute to the local economy and social stability of Lebanon by promoting diversification of incentives for Social Economy and Social Justice advancement, co-identifying with local communities and key stakeholders both the most suitable actors (individuals and organisations) and the optimal environmental factors for a successful and impactful incubation of 20 social economy initiatives in Lebanon.

3 - Purpose of recruitment:

SEE Change project will launch a comprehensive Social Justice Incubation Program that will be providing technical and financial resources to support the scale-up, social and economic impact of 20 new social economy initiatives in Lebanon.

 

COSV - seeks to recruit a number of coaches to take part in the incubation phase, with the following responsibilities to be delivered along the projects lifetime:

 

  • Provide coaching and mentoring sessions for the selected SJIP projects.
  • Lead the coordination between the social entrepreneurs, SESO (Social Enterprise Support Organizations), Suppliers, COSV and SEE Change team, and any other stakeholder.
  • Guide the social-entrepreneurs-to-be to prepare and implement their business growth plan, set milestones and outcomes.
  • Agree with the social entrepreneurs on key development goals and milestones.
  • Agree on a coaching work plan which addresses growth opportunities and potential barriers to growth, also help SE setting procurement plan, depending on the allocated budget and his need
  • Agree with SEE Change team on a reporting mechanism for the coaching/mentoring sessions and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Participate to a monthly in-person[1] meeting with all the relevant stakeholders and team members of the SJIP in a location specified by COSV according to a calendar that will be shared at the beginning of the collaboration.
  • Support COSV team on procurement, sub-granting procedures and administrative checking of the documents that the selected sub-grantees have to provide during the program.
  • Have at least 2 coaching sessions per month with each one of the assigned initiative (modalities and timing will be decided in coordination with COSV team and the selected sub-grantee).

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in managing a broad range of business issues associated with growth, incubation and or acceleration processes.
  • Proven track record in coaching organizations and business leaders
  • Extensive network of contacts with expertise in a wide range of business functions.
  • Experience in innovation management within SMEs and SEs,
  • Willing to participate in an induction training before the start of the program.
  • Willing to travel and work on site at the selected SEs geographical location: all around Lebanon.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must
  • Experience of innovation and business management in rural areas is a plus
