COSV is an Italian NGO working in the field of the International Cooperation. The HQ is located in Milano, Italy and it is present in Lebanon since 2006. COSV in Lebanon focus its activities on Environment, Human Rights, Intercultural Dialogue, Culture, Arts and Economic Development. Worldwide COSV runs projects also on Health, Water and Sanitation, Education and Food Security. COSV always works in partnership with local CSOs in order to promote real bi-lateral cooperation, tackle with real local problems and share experiences and best practices.

COSV is an Italian NGO working in the field of the International Cooperation. The HQ is located in Milano, Italy and it is present in Lebanon since 2006. Under the project titled “Resilient Communities: Supporting Livelihoods, Education and Social Stability for Syrian refugee and host population”, funded by MADAD- Regional EU Trust Fund, and implemented by FURSA consortium led by Search for Common Ground, COSV is responsible for the livelihood component. The goal of the project is to strengthen community resilience and social cohesion among Syrian refugee youth and host community youth in Iraq, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Brief presentation of the project:

The general objective of the Social Justice Incubation Program under SEE Change is to contribute to the local economy and social stability of Lebanon by promoting diversification of incentives for Social Economy and Social Justice advancement, co-identifying with local communities and key stakeholders both the most suitable actors (individuals and organizations) and the optimal environmental factors for a successful and impactful incubation of social economy initiatives in Lebanon.
