Request for Quotations: Training of Trainers (ToTs) in Agriculture Sector in Akkar

COSV is an Italian NGO working in the field of the International Cooperation. The HQ is located in Milano, Italy and it is present in Lebanon since 2006. Under the project titled “Resilient Communities: Supporting Livelihoods, Education and Social Stability for Syrian refugee and host population”, funded by MADAD- Regional EU Trust Fund, and implemented by FURSA consortium led by Search for Common Ground, COSV is responsible for the livelihood component. The goal of the project is to strengthen community resilience and social cohesion among Syrian refugee youth and host community youth in Iraq, Lebanon, and Turkey.

In connection with carrying out the livelihood activities related to Technical and Vocational Trainings, we hereby ask you to offer your best to indicate the subject of the request as provision of 4 Training of Trainers on following topics in Akkar governorate of Lebanon for participants between 18 to 27 years old (minimum 15 trainees for each training and 60 trainees in total).

• Irrigation Water Management / Fertilization
• Integrated Pest Management
• Post-Harvest Technologies
• Organic Agriculture and Organic Waste Composting
• Vegetable Crops Production /  Diversification of The Crops

ToTs shall include pedagogical, didactical and methodological competencies and shall focus on developing trainees’ capacities on curricula delivery on above topics.

The applicants are invited to apply for a minimum of 2, maximum of 4 topics. COSV is expecting the applicants to deliver 4 ToTs in total. If you are applying for less than 4 topics, please specify which trainings will be delivered more than once.

The quotation shall include the following:

• The total number of training hours for each training
• Brief curriculum for each training
• The outreach and course delivery methodology
• Trainer CVs
• Information about the availability of the training equipment

Please note that the cost shall include all costs related to the delivery of the training and which pertains to:

• Venue rental / transportation for the whole period including refreshments provided to beneficiaries and running costs
• Training materials including stationery and course supplies
• Trainers fees for the whole period of the course
• Other related costs

Concerning the beneficiaries of the training and for donor reporting, FURSA project targets beneficiaries from the host community members and Syrian refugees equally, thus they shall be enrolled in equal numbers for each training. The activity period is until the May 31^st 2018, therefore all implementation shall finish by mentioned date.
