LRPS 2021-9171038 for the Construction of three school buildings
Scope of work comprises the implementation and handover phases of each school project separately.
- Implementation phase includes:
- Civil Structural and Architectural Works
- Mechanical Engineering Works
- Electrical Engineering Works
- Handover phase:
This phase is divided into two stages substantial handover and final handover. In both stages the work will be handed over to the assigned committee, which is composed of UNICEF, Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), and UNICEF’s consultant.
Upon works completion, contractor shall handover substantially the works to UNICEF’s Consultant, who shall issue a Certificate of Completion of the Works, the Consultant in his turn will call for handover visit with the assigned committee and sign the minutes of provisional acceptance (substantial handover);
After 12 months Defects Liability Period, the contactor shall handover the work and a minute of final handover to be signed by the assigned committee

Also, please note that 6 annexes as per technical requirements were added to folder “Q & A and Annexes" and an updated BOQ of El Chweir school is uploaded to replace the old one.
Kindly note that the second round of the site’s visits will be conducted tomorrow 9 November 2021 as follows:
• Mazraat yashou3 from 9:00 till 10:00,
• Dhour cheir from 11:00 till 12:00,
• And kfarzabad from 2:00 till 3:00
Kindy note that the queries deadline has been extended till 11.11.2021. Answers will be shared on 16.11.2021.
Following to contractors’ several requests that we have received, it has been decided to call for another pre-bid meeting on Monday, November 8, 2021 @ 10:30am.

UNICEF Lebanon would like to tender for the Construction of Three school buildings as stipulated in the LRPS. Hence, I am writing to invite you for Invitation to Bid No. (LRPS-2021-9171038)
You are kindly requested to quote your best price and submit your proposal by e-mail ONLY to: [email protected] not later than 12:00h, 26 November 2021; otherwise it will be considered invalid.
Proposals should be sent by email ONLY to [email protected] in two separate emails not later than 12:00h, 26 November 2021: one email for the technical proposal and one email for the financial proposal.
- Email for technical proposal:
Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- technical proposal. The email must include: The technical proposal only without prices.
- Email for price proposal:
Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- price proposal. The email must include: The price proposal.
The reference LRPS 2021-9171038 must be shown in the e-mail's subject.
Proposals sent in another manner will be invalid.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All bidders shall attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting that will be held online on Monday 01.11.2021 at 10:00h. Bidders are required to bring all mandatory original legal documents mentioned in para IX under Mandatory Qualification Requirements (if not recently done) which will be checked for validity. The bidders will be shortlisted for future UNICEF construction projects accordingly prior to the opening of the technical and financial proposals.
Mandatory site visit date and time will be communicated at a later stage.
