Helem Overview

Helem (or “Dream” in Arabic), is the first LGBTIQ rights organization in the Arab world, officially established in Beirut, Lebanon in 2001.

Our Audience and Objective

Our audience is the LGBTQ+ community in Lebanon and the MENA region as well as interested partners and allies who want to be informed of our work as well as access unique information and resources concerning gender and sexuality in the Arab world.  Our objective is to maximize the number of individuals who safely and anonymously access information as well as engage our community, raise awareness, and position our organization as a thought leader through content production.

New Website Functionality Requirements
