Purchase of Miscellaneous Irrigation parts, Pesticides and Fertilizers for LARI - Amended

3. The Ministry of Agriculture invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Purchase of miscellaneous irrigation parts, pesticides and fertilizers for the Lebanese Agricultural Research Center (LARI) in Tel Amara.

The maximum duration for the supply, delivery and commissioning of Goods is Five (5) months after the signature of the Contracts.

The bidding document covers the following goods and related Training:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in IFAD Project Procurement Guideline’s (September 2010)

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents in English by sending an official email (mentioning the bidder name, address, contact person and phone number) to [email protected], Attention: Mr. Elias El Namroud, AgriCAL procurement officer before Monday 23^rd of March 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Beirut local time.

6. A prospective Bidder requiring any clarification of the bidding documents may notify the PCU in writing to the attention of Mr. Elias El Namroud, AgriCAL Procurement Officer to the following address / email address:

7. A complete set of bidding document may be delivered to any interested eligible.

8. No pre-bid meeting will be organized for this bidding exercise.

9. Bids must be received by the Purchaser at the address specified below, no later than Monday 23^rd of March 2020 at 11:00 am Beirut local time. Late bids will be rejected.

10. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the bid submission deadline, and must be accompanied by a bid security of 1,500 US$ (One Thousand and Five Hundred United States Dollars) or equivalent in any other foreign currency and valid for 120 days after the bid submission deadline i.e. until Monday 7^th of July 2020 COB. Failure to provide a Bid Security will result in the disqualification of the Bidder. This bid security shall be released when the contract is awarded to the successful bidder.

11. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder's representatives who choose to attend on Monday 23^rd of March 2020 at 11:15 a.m. Beirut local time at the address mentioned in point 9.
