- Supply and Installation of irrigation network for Ehmej hill lake – Proc. Ref.: W2/2020
1. The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has received a grant from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of Climate Smart Agriculture: Enhancing Adaptive Capacity of the Rural Communities in Lebanon (AgriCAL) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the Supply and Installation of irrigation network for Ehmej hill lake - Proc. Ref.: W2/2020.
2. The Project Coordination Unit (PCU) invites sealed bids from interested and qualified bidders for the implementation of abovementioned works under the Contract: Supply and Installation of irrigation network for Ehmej hill lake.
Duration of Works: two (2) months.
3. A pre-bid meeting will be organized on Tuesday 16th of March 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Beirut local time. Interested bidders should contact Ms. Amal Deghaili, AgriCAL Procurement Officer to confirm their presence before Monday 15th of March 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Beirut local time. The pre-bid meeting will take place at the below address:

No site inspection will be organized for this exercise.
4. Minimum qualification requirements include:
a) Average annual financial amount of construction works performed for the last five years makes US$ 350,000 at least.
b) Experience in the successful construction of at least two (2) works of a nature and complexity similar to the Works required over the past five (5) years.
5. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures method set out in IFAD’ Project Procurement Guidelines and Handbook – September 2010. Bidding is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.
6. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of US$ 3,000 (Three Thousand Hundred United States Dollars) or its equivalent in Lebanese pounds.

1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain detailed information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address mentioned below, from Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 15:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 – 12:00 (noon) at Beirut local time before Wednesday 15th of April 2020 at 11:00 a.m. (Beirut local time).

3. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before Wednesday 15th of April 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Beirut local time. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and returned to the Bidders unopened. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at Wednesday 15th of April 2020 at 11:15 a.m. Beirut local time.
