ToR Remote attendance 

Kvinna till Kvinna needs a tool and set up that enables secure remote attendance during a three-day (2-4 May 2019) conference in both plenary and specific sessions for participants who cannot travel or who do not wish to reveal their identity.

Secure live streams of talks (with or without image) accessible on the web both during and after to make sure that they are accessible for participants who have bad connections or cannot connect during the actual talk.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure that remote participants can make their voices heard in the conference.
• Both short pre-recorded interventions that could be and shown during the discussions in case the internet is down at that time or band width is too weak.
• Contact participants that will participate remotely
• Coaching of participants who will participate remotely
• Pre-register interventions with participants who participate remotely

ToR Interpretation

Kvinna till Kvinna needs simultaneous translators/interpreters that can provide accurate & simultaneous translation for an upcoming three-day conference (2-4 May 2019) in both plenary and specific break-out sessions.

Source Languages and Requirements: Each interpreter must be proficient in Arabic and able to provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Arabic and English.

Responsibilities:

• Convey ideas and messages heard only once in a second language instantly, accurately and completely, adhering to the style and intent of the speaker.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding any information learned during the interpreting sessions. The interpreter will be asked to sign a confidentiality contract.
• Ability to capture and convey geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in speeches and can translate terms that are related to gender, feminism, international law and politics in both Arabic and English.

ToR Videography

Kvinna till Kvinna wishes to engage a professional videographer to undertake communications work during a three-day (2-4 May 2019) conference

Responsibilities:

• Produce short videos and interviews with conference attendees who have given signed consent to participate accordingly
• Produce an after-movie of the event, which includes a short narrative report of the conference.
• Requesting and securing signed consent from anyone featured in the film/videos and permissions to shoot at certain times and sessions.

The final videos will be consistent in style and aligned with the official branding of Kvinna till Kvinna, partners and back-donors.

ToR Photography

Kvinna till Kvinna wishes to engage a professional photographer to undertake communications work during a three-day (2-4 May 2019) conference

Responsibilities:

• Photographic coverage during the three days of conference to document all event details described in the agenda, including with conference attendees who have given signed consent to participate accordingly
• Requesting and securing signed consent from anyone featured in photos and permission to attend and photograph at certain times and sessions.

The photographs will be consistent in style and aligned with the official branding of Kvinna till Kvinna, partners and back-donors.

Tor Translation

The Arabic Language Translator will be responsible for producing the highquality translation from English into Arabic of documents from the three-day conference documents. The translator will be also responsible for that the translated documents are cohesive, well structured, well-written, and ready to publish and be shared with relevant stakeholders and participants.

Responsibilities:

• Producing accurate translation of English text to Arabic;
• Ensuring Arabic language excellence and proofreading;
• Ensuring quality check and proofreading of translation;
• Upholding confidentiality and completing the translation perfectly and promptly. Sign a confidentiality consent.
• The translator is obligated to work within the required deadlines and be available for comments and corrections.

The translation submitted to Kvinna till Kvinna under this TOR is the property of the foundation and cannot be submitted, distributed to or used by any other party, unless arranged otherwise
