Tahaddi is a Lebanese NGO established in 2008 whose aim is to respond to the challenges of extreme poverty by facilitating access to education, health and psychosocial support. Tahaddi principally works in Hay el Gharbeh, Southern Beirut with families facing extreme economic and social hardship. We operate a community-based primary care clinic and a non-formal education center for children who are denied access to formal education for social and/or economic reasons.

Tahaddi Lebanon is currently searching for a Social Worker – Relief Program to join their team.

The psychologist will work both at the Tahaddi health center (THC) and the Psychosocial Support Center (PSS). The psychologist will be responsible for providing counseling sessions for adults, children and their families. The psychologist will facilitate group sessions for children or adult community groups including Syrian displaced people.

Job summary: The Speech Therapist assesses the children and develops individual or collective intervention plans. She/he conducts screening and testing, obtains diagnostic information, analyses information and makes recommendations regarding programs and follow up of children.

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in the area of Hay el Gharbeh, south of Beirut (behind the Sport City).
We are looking for a full-time a "Remote Learning Educator" to join our team.

Tahaddi Lebanon is currently recruiting a Project Manager. The PM will demonstrate commitment and adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice, integrity, and compassion.

The social worker (SW) will work in close conjunction with the social work team. Specifically, SW will provide social services and relief support to families of the Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) and the wider community. SW will report to the TEC Director and coordinate with the PSS Center. SW will assess family situations (both strengths and areas of needed support), conduct home visits and connect families to internal and external resources. The social worker will keep detailed reports about family status and provide narrative and statistical reports in-line with organizational requirements

The Finance and HR Officer is responsible for organization-wide financial operations including internal and external financial reporting and budget preparation. This position will also provide HR functions including monthly payroll. The Finance and HR Officer will demonstrate commitment and adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice, integrity and compassion.

Responsible for marketing sewing products in order to bring in new orders and ensure regular work for 12 to 15 seamstresses. Regularly attend fairs and marketing events, and establish relationships with new buyers. Explore new product lines, designs and materials. Provide quality control of products prior to the fulfillment of orders. Identify training needs for the seamstresses and arrange for onsite workshops. Manage overall functioning of the atelier.

In close collaboration with the Career Counselor, work with the youth involved in the Career Development Program (CDP), including Tahaddi students, youth placed in trainee-ships or vocational training, and youth placed in their first employment.
Regularly visit the training providers and vocational schools where youth are placed.
