Tahaddi is a Lebanese NGO established in 2008 whose aim is to respond to the challenges of poverty by facilitating access to education, health and psychosocial support. Tahaddi works in Hay el Gharbeh, Southern Beirut with families facing extreme socioeconomic hardship. Tahaddi operates community-based centers, focused on non-formal education, psychosocial support and health.

Tahaddi Lebanon is currently recruiting a Project Manager. The PM will demonstrate commitment and adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice, integrity, and compassion.

The Finance and HR Officer is responsible for organization-wide financial operations including internal and external financial reporting and budget preparation. This position will also provide HR functions including monthly payroll. Responsible for marketing sewing products in order to bring in new orders and ensure regular work for 12 to 15 seamstresses. Regularly attend fairs and marketing events, and establish relationships with new buyers. Explore new product lines, designs and materials. Provide quality control of products prior to the fulfillment of orders. Identify training needs for the seamstresses and arrange for onsite workshops. Manage overall functioning of the atelier.

In close collaboration with the Career Counselor, work with the youth involved in the Career Development Program (CDP), including Tahaddi students, youth placed in trainee-ships or vocational training, and youth placed in their first employment.
Regularly visit the training providers and vocational schools where youth are placed.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of all project outputs related to the psychosocial component of the project and will lead on the identification of individuals and families without legal identity documents who could benefit from project support services to obtain identity documents. The Project Coordinator will also lead on project planning, monitoring and delivery of activities, as well as contributing to donor reporting.

We are looking for a full-time English Educator to join our team starting September.

We are currently looking for a full time special educator for children aged 4 to 8 years, English educated with a BA degree in Special Education.

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out of school children in the area of Hay el Gharbeh, south of Beirut (behind the Sport City).. In addition to teaching at the elementary school level, educators will also be involved in other activities such as tutoring children of the community and organizing social activities during the month of July.
