We Listen From The Heart

Center of listening and counseling in Bouar lebanon, We offer a service of listening, face to face or by telephone, free, anonymous, confidential and without appointment. The Center is a welcoming environment where anyone who feels the need can be listened to and informed. Our volunteer listeners, based on the humanist approach, advocate that each person has his or her own solutions, and that by talking about their difficulties and being heard, they can come up with their own answers. This approach requires basic attitudes in the listener: empathy, respect, authenticity, non-judgment of the other and unconditional acceptance. Our philosophy of helping relationships is centered on the forces of the person so that they remain at the heart of his approach. In a climate of openness conducive to trust, the person is listened to in accordance with his rhythm, his emotions, his values, his own choices and his life plan.
