Since 1988, the Institut européen de coopération et de développement (IECD) has supported human and economic development in several countries through education, vocational training, youth employability, and support to small enterprises.

IECD and SDA have launched in September 2019 a third technical baccalaureate BT, dedicated to Web and Mobile Programing. This new BT is now in its second year of implementation in 6 public and private schools around Lebanon.
As part of this project, the present ToR aims at contracting a training center in order to further develop the teachers’ technical skills in Python, Java, Web advanced and Github.

IECD Lebanon is searching for an expert in training of
trainers and entrepreneurs’ coaching to strengthen the coaching methodology and the skills of the
trainers supporting them in the organization and the facilitation of the visits. This mission will be part of
“the trainers’ capacity building program” carried out by the program coordination team in IECD HQ with
the support of a pool of experts.

This project is being implemented in the North area (Tripoli and surroundings) since 2010. However, to support the local economic fabric on a wider scale, IECD is considering extending its intervention to a new region of Lebanon.
To identify the new area of intervention, IECD is looking for a consultant to conduct a market need assessment in 2 new areas (Saida and its region, Central Beqaa) and recommend the most relevant for IECD to implement the “Support to Micro and Small Enterprises” Program.

The IECD and SDA have supported in the past years the creation of two technical specialities in Industrial Maintenance and Computer/Mobile Programming in 8 schools around Lebanon, in partnership with the DGVTE.

Through the Support to Micro and Small Enterprises, IECD invests in training and support for small businesses, the main engine of growth and job creation at the local level.
To assess the project, IECD is looking for an external evaluator to conduct a final evaluation.
