Lebanon Reforestation Initiative - Calls

One of LRI’s currently implemented projects is the “Livelihoods in Forestry” project funded by USAID. The project aims at improving sustainable forestry activities through the establishment of models for economic forestry and forest‐related rural tourism. Under the context of LiF, LRI seeks to hire an Herbs Planting, Collection and Processing trainer to conduct 8 full days of training sessions for 4 women groups (10 to 15 women) in the purpose of improving their knowledge and skills in medicinal and aromatic plants planting, collection a and processing for economic benefit.

In the framework of the FFA supported by the WFP and funded by the BMZ, LRI is implementing a project that aims to extend forest cover and fire protection through reforestation and forest management activities while improving the livelihoods of Lebanese and Syrian men and women in vulnerable communities in the North. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a Firefighting expert in the North region that would support LRI in providing technical firefighting training for 15 volunteers from the local community in Mechmech‐Akkar.

LRI is a partner on the regional EU‐funded HEUREKA project that involves five
countries in disaster risk management and improvement of DRR systems. The purpose of this RFP is to develop an interactive platform that aims at bringing together different
stakeholders related to DRR and where partners can coordinate and experts and practitioners can share
experiences from several countries involved in the project. The project places major emphasis most of which requires a well‐designed platform to allow for information sharing, discussions and showcasing of success stories and events.

The LEBANON REFORESTATION INITIATIVE requests your price quotation for the supply of Fencing material preferred supplier from March 2021 till March 2022. Duration of the agreement with the fencing material provider may be renewable, subject to offer resubmission and satisfactory service.
Each vendor will be evaluated on quality of service and competitive prices while responding to the specifications mentioned in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The LEBANON REFORESTATION INITIATIVE is requesting a price quotation for the supply of Irrigation preferred suppliers from February 2021 to February 2022.

Under the context of LRI strategy, LRI seeks to hire a service provider for the development of a Monitoring and Evaluation Management System for the NGO in the purpose of centralizing and standardizing its data collection procedures and allowing more efficient monitoring, evaluation and learning processes for sound decision making and dissemination of information on the projects as well as the strategy levels with respect to LRI's Vision & Mission.

The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a Milk and Dairy Products expert in the North region that would support LRI in providing trainings for 30 women participants in Qobaiyat (Akkar) during January 2021 and 30 women participants in Mrah El Srej (Dunnieh) during February 2021.

In the framework of FFA supported by the WFP and funded by the BMZ LRI is implementing a project that aims to extend forest cover and fire protection through reforestation and forest management
activities while improving the livelihoods of Lebanese and Syrian men and women in vulnerable communities in the North. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a NWFP usage and Harvesting Techniques Expert in the North region that would support LRI in providing trainings for 100 participants in Fnaideq (Akkar) and 120 in Bqarsouna (Dunnieh).

In the framework of FFA supported by the WFP and funded by the BMZ LRI is implementing a project that aims to extend forest cover and fire protection through reforestation and forest management
activities while improving the livelihoods of Lebanese and Syrian men and women in vulnerable communities in the North. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a Beekeeping and Honey Production Expert in the North region that would support LRI in providing trainings for 30 women participants in Qobaiyat during January 2021 and 30 women participants in Mrah El Srej during February 2021.

activities while improving the livelihoods of Lebanese and Syrian men and women in vulnerable communities in the North. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a Biodiversity and Habitat Conservation Expert in the North region that would support LRI in providing trainings for 100 participants in Fnaideq (Akkar) and 120 in Bqarsouna (Dunnieh).
