Lebanon Reforestation Initiative - Jobs

The Program Assistant at the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is responsible for the Youth Conservation Corps Program (YCC). The Program Assistant will be responsible for managing logistics, communications and supervising outdoor and fieldwork activities, to ensure the smooth operation of program initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in youth engagement, and a passion for outdoor environmental work.

The Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Senior Expert (MEL Senior Expert) will be providing support in monitoring and evaluating and learning of ongoing activities within the NGO projects and proposals. He/She will be responsible for overall MEL needs of the projects and will provide guidance on data collection, analysis and reporting to show performance of the different components of the projects to relevant team members.

LRI is offering an internship opportunity under the proposal writing department. The candidate will receive guidance and support from the proposal writing department and will assist in writing concept notes for future funding opportunities.

LRI is currently planning to start the implementation of the Response for Environmental Livelihoods and Employment Funding – RELIEF project funded by the International Labor Organization through KfW EIIP program, in several regions of Lebanon, focused on Cash for Work socio-environmental activities in Akkar, Jbeil, North Bekaa, West Bekaa, Rashaya and South.

LRI is offering an Internship opportunity under the HR Department. The candidate will receive guidance and support from the HR Coordinator . This 3 months of internship program is structured to offer you invaluable hands-on experience within the field of HR.

LRI is currently implementing the “Supporting internally displaced persons and hosting communities through cash for work activities in the tyr district” project with UNDP in Tyr, Abbasiyeh and Burj el Chemaly.

LRI is seeking for 2 filed facilitators to support the implementation of the FARM: Support vulnerable households' Food Access and vulnerable farmers' Resilience Management project with GIZ and Solidarites International as implementing partner in several regions of Lebanon, focused on implementation of Agroforestry projects on private lands.

This internship is your chance to deepen your translation and hone your transcription skills while supporting wildlife conservation. You'll work alongside our wildlife conservation expert, translating training materials and transcribing sessions for Cohort 4 of the Youth Conservation Corps program.

Join us in a critical mission to combat forest fires through proactive awareness and community engagement. Your task will involve creating effective awareness signs on a daily or weekly basis to help prevent forest fires.
