The Procurement Specialist is responsible for implementing procurement and administrative activities such as coordinating procurement, performing reception duties, providing general administrative support as well as facilitating visitor logistics including arranging ground travel and lodging for Venture37 projects in Lebanon. This position will also support the grants management and finance and accounting team with procurement and administrative support. This position reports to the Deputy Chief of Party.

The Cooperative Development Activity 4 (CD4) is a $11.35M USD, 5-year (2018-2023) activity being implemented by Venture37 in Rwanda, Malawi and now Lebanon, with funding from USAID – Washington. The goal of CD4 is to advance cooperatives in all 3 countries so that they have the enabling environment, improved capacity, and resources to meet the evolving needs of their members. The work in Lebanon started as of October 2021.

The communications and outreach department is responsible for a board range of duties related to content and messaging. With the support of the technical team, communications materials are developed and delivered in many formats including, but not limited to: posts, reels, stories on all CD4 social media platforms, semi-annual and annual reports, videos, press releases, branding material. The department leads all outreach activities such as, but not limited to: fair, exhibitions, stakeholders meetings, CLP events, launching and closing events.

Land O’Lakes Venture37 is implementing the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Inclusive Food Systems (IFS) in Egypt, Lebanon & Rwanda. The program will increase the productivity & profitability of market actors across local food systems through the provision of targeted, sequenced and layered volunteer technical assistance. Will generate sustainable, broad-based economic growth in the agricultural sector, and serve as a valuable program to facilitate people-to-people exchanges that promote connection & understanding in the global community
