The Regional Office undertook a financial review as a part of following-up on funds in order to ensure that these funds are handled in accordance with the requirements in existing policies & agreements. The review assessed whether the management & financial systems are in order and shall provide recommendations for improvement. Based on this assessment, a capacity building plan is needed to enhance the efficiency & effectiveness of our partners, building skills, abilities to strengthen the organization, thus ensuring better compliance with donors requirements, the organization mission & vision

Under the “Equitable Prevention and Response for Child Sex Trafficking” project Diakonia Lebanon Country Office will conduct a Baseline and endline study.

The baseline study aims to provide an information base against which to monitor and assess an activity’s progress and effectiveness during implementation and after completion of the project.

The endline study will be carried out to understand the impact of the project on beneficiaries and the community as well.

The consultant will develop the baseline and endline study based on the project logframe.

Diakonia is a Swedish non-governmental development organization (NGO) whose mission is to contribute to changing political and societal structures that sustain injustice, poverty and exclusion in the world.  It supports civil society organizations in around 30 countries of Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America to implement projects and programs that promote human rights, gender equality, democracy and participation, social and economic justice, and conflict resolution with justice.

Diakonia also supports its national partners to undertake humanitarian work in countries where partners have capacities and resources to undertake humanitarian response and disaster risk reduction. (The number of so-called “strategic humanitarian countries” within Diakonia is currently 12).
