Under WFP’s School Snacks 2023-2024 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute healthy snacks to 30,000 children registered in 55 schools in North Lebanon and Akkar. The requested types of snacks, including specifications, quantities, and months of distribution are analyzed in Annex 3. The list of schools with their respective expected number of students is provided in Annex 4.

Development, Culture, and Leadership (DCL) is a Lebanese non-profit organization that was founded in 2008 with the mission to empower the youth of Northern Lebanon through informal and non-formal education, offering opportunities to the local youth without any discrimination due to religious, gender, nationality, or social differences. Peace, collaboration, equality, and respect among all members of the community have been the main values around which DCL has been operating since its inception.

Under WFP’s School Meals 2023-2024 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute cold meals (sandwiches and fruits/vegetables) to approximately 2,500 children registered in 5 schools in North Lebanon and Akkar. The meals will be prepared in 2 of these schools, Hrar and Qoubbe, that will operate as kitchens.
In order to prepare the cold meals in the kitchens, and in compliance with WFP’s food safety policies and procedures, a list of supplies (consumables, PPE, etc.) is required and presented below in the Annex with approximate total quantities and the respective specifications.

Under WFP’s School Meals 2023-2024 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute cold meals (sandwiches and fruits/vegetables) to approximately 2,500 children registered in 5 schools in North Lebanon and Akkar (2 of these schools, Hrar and Qoubbe, will also operate as kitchens).
The meals that will be distributed to the other 3 schools, namely Hweish, Hweish Takmiliye, and Zaaroura Schools, will be prepared in the kitchen of Hrar School.

Under WFP’s School Snacks 2023-2024 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute healthy
snacks to 30,000 children registered in 55 schools in North Lebanon and Akkar. In each school,
a room/space (approx. 10m2) will be dedicated by the school’s director for the snacks’ storage
for a few hours up to a few days.
Within this context, DCL seeks to contract a suitable supplier to provide pest control
management services in the storage rooms of the 55 assigned schools.

Under WFP’s School Snacks 2023-2024 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute healthy snacks to 30,000 children registered in 55 schools in North Lebanon and Akkar. The requested types of snacks, including specifications, quantities, and months of distribution, in addition to the list of schools with their respective expected number of students are provided in the RFQ attached and the respective annexes.

Under the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s Summer Catch-up Programme 2023 and in coordination with WFP, DCL is requested to distribute healthy snacks to the children registered in 90+ schools in North Lebanon and Akkar.

Under WFP’s In-Kind 2023 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute (until December 2023) food rations to pre-selected beneficiaries in Tripoli, Minieh, and Dennieh-Syr.
The boxes to be distributed are of 20.01Kg; The duration of the distribution is 11 months (February till December).
As such, DCL is looking for a supplier to provide Trucks, porters at the warehouse, porters at the sites, and forklift drivers at the warehouse

Under WFP’s In-Kind 2023 Programme, DCL will be needing two vehicles for different purposes from February till December
As such, DCL is looking for:
one transportation car and one crossover car

Under WFP’s In-Kind 2023 Programme, DCL will be distributing on a monthly basis (until December 2023) rations to pre-selected beneficiaries. Rations are stored in a warehouse in Behsas area .
As such, DCL is looking for a supplier to deal with pest control.
