Lebanon is importing 80% of all needed goods, including basic daily essential goods. Due to the changing context and the rising food security concerns, WHH is interested to assess new food security and livelihood interventions. The NGO Welthungerhilfe is the implementing organization of a rural development project and works with the local partner organization Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (L.O.S.T.) in a consortium in Baalbek-Hermel. The overall purpose of the mid-term evaluation is to assess 1. the efficiency and effectiveness of the cooperation structure between the consortium partners, 2. the continued relevance of the action, progress made towards achieving planned objectives and the sustainability of the interventions beyond the term of this action.

Welthungerhilfe is implementing agricultural value chain development programs in Baalbek-Hermel. Part of the project is to improve the networks and interaction between producers, suppliers, and consumers, and to create new and sustainable business relationships. Therefor Welthungerhilfe is looking for a network-event-manager, who can support the organization in planning and design of networking-events that bring actors together.

Welthungerhilfe has implemented projects in Lebanon since 2016 by remote-management, and is currently in the process of establishing an own presence in Lebanon.

The aim of the safety / security consultancy is to develop clear and detailed Safety / Security Plans for the WHH project areas and for the Beirut office (Coordination Office)
