Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is looking for a business plan consultant. Under a value chain project our implementing partner will realize a post-harvest unit for cereals and pulses as part of an agro-industrial incubator. The incubator is designed as a social enterprise in the North Beqaa. The task of the consultant is to calculate the business plan and to consider technical investments.

Welthungerhilfe will soon start new projects in Lebanon. The team will be new, such as the Lebanese partners, and will probably need time to get oriented. There are many things to be prepared and time is not to be lost.
WHH would therefore like to hire a facilitator who concentrates on some aspects of the project start and takes over some processes for to start the new projects. WHH would like to have this person for a period of 3 months, Oct-Dec 2022, (workload approximately 30 days in total).

Welthungerhilfe is looking for a facilitator/trainer for a training in moderation and team-communication for related WHH personnel and managers of partner organizations. The workshop shall be conducted in presence at a conference room.

The service provider is asked to conduct a feasibility study for a proposed learning centre and evaluate the advantages and challenges of a learning centre versus a TVET centre and elaborate which topics can be covered in which format.

Consultant for delivering a workshop for local NGOs on fundraising, 3-5 days of work in June 2022.

The German NGO Welthungerhilfe has been conducting together with local NGO a variety of interventions to support vulnerable populations in Palestinian camps in Lebanon. WHH seeks now an external consultant for to evaluate its project interventions. Evaluators should be familiar with the humanitarian relief sector and the situation of vulnerable communities in Lebanon, and the topics livelihoods, business development, skills development/vocational training, income generation. The evaluation is supposed to take place during March 2022. Interested bidders are kindly asked to submit bids.

Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is looking for a implementation partner for a three-year project (idea submitted to German BMZ) in the governorates North and Akkar to support agricultural producers and processors, livelihoods and social cohesion (see description below). Interested local partner organisations are invited to submit their proposals by 16th of December.

Assignment: The Business Development Support Consultant will conduct
• Monthly reviews of the quality of implementation and the progress of the activities related to Business Development that is being provided to MSMEs, Start-ups, COOP’s, MOA extension offices, women and farmers,
• Technical capacity building of implementing partners.
• Support the partner in the development of Business Curriculums

Starting date: November 2021
Duration of appointment: up to 4,5 months (5 working days per month)
Duty Stations: Beirut, Baalbek-Hermel

Assignment: The consultant will build the capacity of our partner and carry out a full set-up and strengthen the partner M&E system with close coordination with WHH MEAL and will train the candidate who will be enrolled by the partner.
