The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) is a private diplomacy organization founded on the principles of humanity, impartiality and independence. Its mission is to help prevent, mitigate, and resolve armed conflict through dialogue and mediation.

The Administration Officer ensures the smooth running of Lebanon office in terms of personnel administration, office management and support.

HD is currently looking for a:

HD seeks to recruit a Support Services Associate to join its Lebanon&Iraq team to support it administratively. Reporting to the Project Manager and in direct contact with the Support Services and Event Logistics Coordinators , the Support Services Associate will have the following responsibilities.

HD has been involved in Iraq, supporting dialogue between Iraqi stakeholders on a number of contentious issues.
HD seeks to recruit a Project Associate to join its Iraq team to support it both administratively and substantively. Reporting to the Project Officer, the Project Associate will have the following responsibilities:

HD’s mediation efforts in Iraq aim to promote the stability of the country through inclusive and sustainable dialogue between local actors and the Iraqi Government.
The Project Officer will be hired for a temporary period of 6 months (which could be extended based on funding availability) and will contribute to Iraq projects by supporting the Project Manager both administratively and substantively, closely following up the implementation of the project and monitoring the projects’ compliance with the strategic framework and internal procedures and policies.

HD’s mediation efforts in Iraq aim to promote the stability of the country through inclusive and sustainable dialogue between local actors and the Iraqi Government.

In response to renewed international concerns over Lebanon’s stability, HD started two mediation processes, which aim to encourage Lebanese stakeholders to prevent the escalation of conflict and to foster post-conflict peacebuilding in the country.
