The Operations Manager ensures the smooth functioning of daily activities by overseeing logistical coordination and administrative tasks. The position includes coordinating events, liaising with stakeholders, and implementing organizational policies as well as ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

ALEF is looking for a roundtable facilitator to facilitate a closed-door roundtable with decisionmakers to discuss the findings of its monitoring, with major focus on the issue of the use of force by Lebanese security agencies during protests, with relevant government agencies, other key stakeholders, donors working on SSR, project partners in other sectors, relevant NGOs, and community representatives.

ALEF is looking for a trainer to deliver a series of 24 capacity-building sessions on local-level advocacy between November 2023 and February 2025 (8 sessions between November 2023 and February 2024 and 16 sessions between March 2024 and February 2025). The sessions are expected to develop the capacities of participants in conducting advocacy with local stakeholders and actors and to support them in promoting participation in local governance. This consultancy will be contracted and undertaken under the supervision of ALEF – act for human rights.

ALEF is looking for a consultant to develop ALEF’s balanced rights based approach and perspectives in relation to the current debate about LGBTQIA+ rights. Such an approach will seek to address and promote equality and inclusivity by recognizing and valuing the differences between and contributions of individuals of all viewpoints about LGBTQIA+ rights except those promoting homophobia and discrimination.

ALEF is looking for an Audio-Visual Specialist consultant to create content for a social media video that contributes to raising awareness on the status of civil and political rights, with particular focus on real cases in which these rights need to be better protected by the police and the population, based on ALEF’s monitoring of human rights violations and progresses in Lebanon.

ALEF is looking for a strategy consultant to conduct 2 strategy workshops for PASC. The first workshop will serve as a 2-days discussion on the Triple Nexus Strategy of PASC, to brainstorm and adopt the details of the TNP, its purpose, membership, objectives, and advocacy strategy, and to elaborate a strategy for the small sub-granting mechanism.
