The Grants Acquisition and Management (GAM) intern will support World Vision Lebanon’s GAM team. The selected candidate must be available for full-time work. The expectation for onsite presence is at least four days per week. The position reports to the Grants and Partnership Officer.

Compensation

This position is entitled to adequate stipend in line with World Vision in Lebanon policy and procedure

Main Tasks

  • Offer technical writing support to the GAM team’s project design and proposal writing efforts. This includes supporting the writing and revision of logical frameworks, concept notes, proposals, among others
  • Support GAM team with evidence-based research on several areas, including but not limited to local partnering, localization, and effective programme implementation
  • Offer administrative support to the GAM unit as needed
  • Develop/contextualize/review/translate learning materials for WVL programs and project models
  • Support with engagement with local partners as needed
  • Support with donor engagement and mapping
  • Respect and commit to World Vision’s internal policies and procedures including Child Safeguarding, and Code of Conduct

Minimum requirements

  • Currently majoring in relevant fields of study or having graduated within the past two years
  • Demonstrable knowledge in relevant topics (i.e., humanitarian programming, international aid, project management
  • Strong data-analysis competencies
  • Strong English writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Experience in working in disadvantaged communities and vulnerable groups is an asset
  • Volunteering background is an asset
