Under the direct Technical supervision of the Inclusion Specialist & Administrative supervision of the Head of Center; Inclusion officer will
- Coordinate with the SBCO to Maintain the building up of the inclusion service mapping to ensure accurate and comprehensive information on available services and resources for individuals with disabilities;
- Identify Children with disabilities who are in public schools, assess them, fill the related sheet and send it to the Inclusion specialist on a weekly basis.
- Refer the CWDs to the needed therapy services or assistive devices after the validation from the inclusion specialist.
- Ensure a direct and continuous follow up with service providers and children’s families.
- Monitor the completion of the referrals process to ensure timely and effective service access;
- Monitors the children’s capacity progress and service’s quality during the referrals and collects data from the service providers and families then maintains records of progress and development
- Ensure the good documentation of the Medical reports and the therapy reports.
- Continuously update the Disability tracking sheet to maintain good reporting;
- contribute in reporting on disabilities, narrative reports and the Special needs tracking sheet.
- Ensure a correct monthly reporting using the shared template to support in the reporting process & facilitate informed decision-making;
- Regularly report to the inclusion specialist & to the project coordinator on progress, challenges, ways forward… to get the needed advices and support;
- Participates in child protection and education sector meetings.
- Participates in trainings organized
- Other tasks upon the request of inclusion specialist & Project Coordinator
