1. Objective

The project aims to enhance agricultural sustainability in vulnerable communities using permaculture for climate resilience. It involves young people, runs community awareness campaigns, and utilizes permaculture techniques for effective water management. Additionally, it engages local stakeholders to tailor project technologies to their specific needs and conducts educational programs about climate change and sustainable farming.

Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is looking for consultants and experts to develop the training curriculum for individuals in the Bekaa area.

1. Training Topics

The training topics might be as follows however they are subject to change according to the needs assessment results:

• Soil health
• Water management
• Green Construction
• Regenerative agriculture

• Innovative agricultural practices for climate change adaptation

1. Outcomes

• Develop a well-structured and comprehensive curriculum framework that aligns with the organization's objectives and meets the needs of the target audience.
• Ensure that the curriculum aligns with relevant industry standards, certifications, and best practices, enhancing the practical applicability of the acquired knowledge and skills.

1. Deliverables

To develop a curriculum for seven sessions focused on Permaculture, Climate Change, and Sustainable Agriculture skills and technical training for the targeted individuals.

1. Qualifications

• University degree in agriculture or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Proven knowledge of Fair-Trade principles
• Proven presentation skills
• Drives results

• Engaged in developing self and others
• High degree of self-motivation
• Good time management
• Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules

• Payments will be made through bank
