Call for expression of interest

Mada Association is excited to announce the call for Expressions of Interest for Medium-scale farmers and producers for the “SAFE: Sustainable Agri-Food Economy for refugee and local communities in vulnerable governorates of Lebanon” project, implemented by WeWorld in partnership with Mada Association and the Lebanese Workers Rights Organization (LWRO). The SAFE project is part of the European Regional Development and Protection Program for Jordan and Lebanon 2023-2026 (RDPP III), supported by various European countries.

The aim of this initiative is to identify Agri-food sector actors eager to enhance their sustainability, innovate their business operations and committed to creating jobs.

The program will offer:

• The opportunity to innovate business operation in collaboration with a Business Advisor
• In-kind grants
• Technical support

You are eligible to apply if you are a medium producer or farmer:

• In the following targeted municipalities: Mhammara, Bebnine, Jdeidet Qaytaa, Tal Hayat, Borj El Arab, Berqayel, Fneidek, Ain Dahab, El Hissa, Bhanine, Btermaz, Sfireh, Tripoli.
• On the following value chains:  Fruit trees, Vegetables, Dairy, Potatoes, or Leafy Greens value chains and related services.
• Cultivating and legally owns or rents your land or production facility.
• Is able and willing to employ additional employees/workers.

دعوة لتقديم الطلبات

تُعلن جمعية مدى عن دعوة المزارعين، مربي المواشي والمنتجين متوسطي الحجم لتقديم الطلبات لمشروع "SAFE: الاقتصاد الزراعي الغذائي المستدام للمجتمعات المحلية واللاجئين في المحافظات المستضعفة / الهشّة في لبنان"، الذي تنفذّه وي وورلد بالتعاون مع جمعية مدى والمرصد اللبناني لحقوق العمال والموظفين. يعد مشروع "SAFE" جزءاً من البرنامج الأوروبي الإقليمي للتنمية والحماية لدعم الأردن ولبنان (2023 – 2026) بدعم من دول أوروبية مختلفة.

تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تحديد / معرفة الجهات الفاعلة في قطاع الأغذية الزراعية الملتزمة بخلق فرص عمل، والراغبة في تعزيز استدامتها / ديمومتها، الإبتكار في عملياتها التجارية.

هذا البرنامج يقدّم:

• فرصة للابتكار في العمليات التجارية بالتعاون مع مستشاري أعمال
• منح عينية
• دعم تقني

أنت مؤهل لتقديم طلبك إذا كنت مزارعاً أو منتجًا على مستوى متوسط:

• في البلديات المستهدفة التالية: المحمرة، ببنين، جديدة القيطع، تل حياة، برج العرب، برقايل، فنيدق، عين الذهب، الحيصة، بحنين، بطرماز، السفيرة أو طرابلس.
• على سلاسل قيم: الأشجارالمثمرة، الخضروات، الألبان والأجبان، البطاطا، أو الخضراوات الورقية والخدمات ذات الصلة.
• تقوم بزراعة او تمتلك أو تستأجر بشكل قانوني أرض أو منشأة إنتاج
• قادر ومستعد لتوظيف موظفين/عمال إضافيين.
