Medical Administrator - Beirut

The medical administrator will collect hospitalization supporting documents from RI’s nurses in BML and Bekaa, verify them, follow up with the hospitals on missing invoices and receipts, and handle the submission of payment and procurement documents to RI's finance and procurement departments.
The medical administrator will prepare and submit all procurement requests and payment requests (with the needed supporting documents) related to health and nutrition activities, and follow up with the supply chain and operations and finance departments on their completion.
Accountability and Complexity
The job holder is expected to work independently while keeping open communication with other team members. A high level of discretion, transparency, and attention to detail is required, in addition to excellent numerical and organizational skills.
Financial billing:
Collect hospitalization supporting documents and bills from RI’s nurses in Beirut and Bekaa for all hospitalized cases under this fund.
Collect supporting documents from RI’s center providing rehabilitation services under this fund
Collect supporting documents for all supported advanced diagnostic tests
Verify all collected documents ensuring information accuracy and completeness, pricing details and correctness, and follow up with the hospitals/centers on missing invoices and receipts
Prepare monthly payment requests for each supported hospital and center under this project and submit them to finance by the set deadline
Ensure payments are accurate, submitted on time, and reflect RI’s preset pricelist, predefined case list and budgets
Inform the Health Program Coordinator of any financial issues or suspected financial abuse or misuse.
Procurement:
Support the team in preparing procurement requests and coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure accurate pricing and request completion
Follow up with the procurement department on the timely delivery of medical/non-medical supplies and equipment
Support the team in preparing procurement requests for training and facilitators as needed
Coordination:
Coordinate with RI’s nurses and Public Health Officers in Beirut and Bekaa to ensure document collection and accuracy
Coordinate with focal points in the supported health facilities on needed or missing documentation
Coordinate with the finance and procurement departments in RI to submit requests and follow up on their completion
Report activities, challenges and resource allocation or misuse to the Health Program Coordinator
