يسر جمعية عِرَب تقديم استكمال ورشة عمل "من الأنالوج إلى الدّيجيتال" مع التّركيز على الدّيجيتال:

ما زال الشّريط المغناطيسي (أو الأنالوج) يقدّم أفضل جودة تسجيل صوتي، وهو المعيار الذي تتمّ مقارنة جميع وسائط التسجيل الأخرى به.

سوف نستكشف استخدامه كوسيط أرشيفي أو كحالة عابرة للوسيط الرقمي، بحيث يمكن البحث عنه لجمالياته أو صفاته الصوتية الخاصة. إضافةً إلى استكشاف استخدامات الأنالوج من وجهة نظر المنتج الإبداعي، إلى جانب الأمثلة الحيّة والمحاكاة الخوارزمية الحديثة في البرامج، بهدف المقارنة بينهما.

المدرب جواد شعبان: موسيقي وخبير صوتي ذو أكثر من 15 عامًا من الخبرة الفنية والتدريسية في تصميم الصوت والتسجيل والإنتاج، وتطوير الفنانين والصوتيات والأنظمة الصوتية.

Irab is pleased to offer the continuation of “From Analog to Digital” workshop focusing on Digital means.

Introduction: exploring the history of analog recording (reel to reel, audio tapes) in Lebanon, its contemporary uses within the world of recording, sound creation and production, digitization and mastering, as well as any eventual place in the future. Analog tape continues to offer the most faithful audio recording quality and is the standard to which all other recording mediums are compared to. 

We will explore its use as an archival medium, or as a transient state to the digital medium where it might be sought out for its particular sound aesthetics or qualities. 

We will also get to explore analog tape uses from a creative producer’s perspective, along with live examples and modern-day algorithmic emulations in software, for comparison. 

Trainer Jawad Chaaban is a musician and an audio expert with 15+ years of technical, artistic and teaching experience in sound design, recording, production, artist development, acoustics and audio systems.
