Call for Trainer - Human Rights & Democracy

Basmeh & Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

Scope of work:

The project aims to raise the knowledge of 8 Civic Society Organizations in several topics in order to improve their capacity and capability to implement projects and advocacy campaigns.

The trainer will aim to cover the following points:

• International Criminal Law, International Human Rights Law, and the Concept of Human Rights.
• The major international human rights documents.
• The comprehensive international report and the obligations of states under treaties.
• The link between human rights and women's and gender rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

Deliverables:

• Design the training curriculum and materials according to the CSOs capacity assessment results and B&Z recommendations.
• Prepare the training agenda.
• Deliver 4 training days. 
• Conduct pre and post assessment.
• Prepare and provide a training report.
• Provide a detailed invoice.
• Provide the requested attendance sheets.
• Provide a copy of her\his ID or Passport.

Trainer Qualifications  & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in designing training manuals.
• Ability to conduct and facilitate online training. 
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver training in Arabic.

 Duration: From June 1st 2024 to August 31st 2024
