Borderless is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with a mission to uplift marginalized communities, particularly in Lebanon. Our vision is to address structural barriers to overcoming hardships faced by disadvantaged and at-risk populations, including patterns of discrimination, lack of access to essential services, conflict, and social disorder. Our focus areas include providing support to children, youth, women through integrated programs aimed at education, livelihood, protection, advocacy, and capacity-building.
2. Trainer Role and Tasks:
a. Borderless is seeking to recruit a trainer in order to deliver case management training for the protection and programs team located in Ouzai. The trainer will facilitate 4 days workshops focusing on:
- Training protection team on all case management steps, safe ways for use and adapting a proper referral system.
- Training non protection team on safe identification and referral to protection team.
- Assist Borderless’ protection team in adapting the case management procedures, tools, practices and proper documentation.
b. The trainer is required to provide Borderless prior to the training:
- Schedule and duration of each workshop
- Training materials
- Develop tools that measure the impact of the workshops (such as training feedback, pre/post assessments, etc.)
c. Abide by Borderless’ reporting mechanism to allow continuous monitoring of activities
d. Identify and communicate risks/challenges to Borderless team and call for intervention when required
3. Key Deliverables:
Borderless’ protection team and programs team should be better equipped in case management, referrals, and case handling.
4. The trainer will work closely with Borderless’ protection team and programs staff.
5. Selection Matrix:
The applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:
Profile of the organization (please include the CV of the trainer who will deliver the training and conduct the need assessments)
Proven experience in the field of training
Provision of the technical proposal and the methodology that will be used for the workshop
Provision of the total cost (noting that the price should be submitted per training day)
