About the Hariri Foundation (HF)

The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is a Lebanese non-governmental organization with special consultative status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Tha Hariri Foundation is dedicated to sustainable development across various sectors, including Education & Training, Public Health, Community Support, Urban Development, and Environment & Agriculture. HF operates in partnership with stakeholders to promote citizen engagement, social cohesion, and community resilience.


Consultancy Overview

The Hariri Foundation is calling for a First Response Expert to design and deliver specialized training materials and courses for individuals and teams working in areas related to first response and other healthcare service. The expert will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team at the Hariri Social & Medical Center, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to analyze training needs and develop educational materials and tools in innovative and effective ways for a diverse pool of first response volunteers. The expert will also undertake the organization and implementation of practical and theoretical training to ensure that participants are qualified to deal effectively with regular and emergent healthcare situations as part of its Mobile Medical Unit.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze training needs and design effective training programs within the following areas:
  1. Basic lifting and moving
  2. Advanced lifting and moving
  3. Basic airways
  4. Basic life support – CPR and AED (Adults)
  5. Basic life support – CPR and AED (Child and Infant)
  6. Vital signs
  7. Initial Assessment
  8. Communicable Diseases
  9. General Trauma
  • Develop a training manual for First Response protocols and SOPs to support learning processes.
  • Deliver training sessions, including theoretical and practical aspects, for the first response team.
  • Build capacities in the field of safety, emergency response, and assistive technology.
  • Evaluate the performance of participants and provide evaluation reports.
  • Organize and evaluate a drill on FR lessons takeaways using necessary tools and equipment

Total Hours of Training: 50 Hours

Total Days of Training: Up to 30 Days


Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Recognized certificates in training and first response.
  • Work experience in training and development, especially in the field of first response.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and first aid concepts.
  • The ability to quickly analyze the situation and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Recognized certifications in training and first response.
  • Volunteer experience in first aid and first response for at least 10 years.
