Fundraising
Expertise France is seeking the services of Fundraising expert to build the capacities of one it’s local partners: the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI). The latter, a local NGO focusing on improving forest landscape, management, and restauration, agroforestry, fire prevention, and raising awareness around these issues, is seeking to reinforce its capacity in terms of fundraising.
The consultant, an expert in Fundraising, Grants and Project Development, with proven experience in the humanitarian sector (experience with LNGOs is a must), especially within the Lebanese context, will meet with LRI’s team and develop a Fundraising Plan and Strategy. Following the finalization of the plan, the consultant will present the final document to LRI’s team.
- KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES
- Develop a fundraising strategy to secure funding.
- Map potential donors and their requirements.
- Train the team on Fundraising modalities such as crowdfunding, fundraising events, fundraising campaigns, and more (all within the sector but also with the public and the private sector).
- Organize a workshop through which the Fundraising Strategy will be presented to LRI’s team with clear steps to implement its content.
- Train the team on the proposal writing/project development process.
- Coaching on the development of one fundraising campaign or event.
- Prepare a final consultancy report which will detail all the process, LRI meeting notes/minutes, all deliverables including but not limited to Fundraising strategy and the rest of the deliverables and ensure that an attendance sheet is filled in regarding the workshop to be organized.
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Consultant:
- Closely coordinate with Expertise France regarding the activities to be implemented.
- Ensure regular communication with both LRI and Expertise France throughout the process.
- Organize a workshop to present the results to LRI’s team.
- Validate with Expertise France all the material produced.
- Prepare a final report for the consultancy detailing all the process, LRI meeting notes/minutes and all deliverables.
