Vaccination Program – Outreach Volunteer
The volunteer will aid the primary health care program in strengthening the routine vaccination program under MoPH, that serves to reduce preventable transmissible diseases among the community.
The volunteer will need to undergo capacity building in the primary health care center. He/she will be acting in the community three days a week. Only daily transportation fees will be provided as it is a volunteering opportunity
Duties include:
1. Community Education: Provide information about the importance of vaccination, dispel myths and misconceptions, and address concerns or questions from community members, through home visits, approaches in public spaces like gardens, etc…
2. Registration Assistance: Help individuals register for vaccination appointments, both online and in person, if required
3. Logistical Support Assist with setting up and managing vaccination outreach sites, including arranging seating, organizing supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow of people through the vaccination process
6. Data Collection: Record vaccination data accurately, including demographics,
7. Community Engagement: Collaborate with local community leaders, organizations, and healthcare providers to build trust and rapport within the community.
Qualifications:
Fresh graduate or health student in one of the majors: nursing, public health, nutrition or in sociology/ social work
