ECODIT Liban is seeking the support of a biodiversity expert to conduct a biological assessment for a 2000m2 site in Ras El Metn, where a potential composting station will be located.
The Consultant is expected to complete the following tasks:
- Review existing studies and information regarding the biological environment (flora and fauna) in the project area;
- Conduct the necessary site visits;
- Identify and describe (based on site visits and literature review) the biological environment of the Project area;
- Provide a description of anticipated impacts on the biological environment related to the implementation of the project; and
- Propose mitigation and monitoring measures.
The expected deliverable will be a brief report summarizing the status of the existing biological environment, potential impacts, and proposed mitigation and monitoring measures.
