Facilitator/ Trainer

Under the supervision of the Project Director, the facilitator / trainer will be responsible for designing the training / facilitation process and tools, organizing the meetings, leading the facilitation / training process for varying stakeholder groups and across varying municipalities, plan meetings, prepare reports, and attend technical meeting when the need arises.

• At least a master’s degree in architecture, business administration, economics, engineering, social sciences, urban planning, or a related field.
• At least five years’ experience in implementing strategic planning/framework building/road-mapping methodologies and tools for national, sectoral and/or local development planning processes.
• Facilitating processes for the selection, appraisal, and design processes of development projects and/or leading on social stability/conflict resolution processes could be accepted as well.
• Proven ability to facilitate complex planning processes and implement planning exercises with official partners in complex political economy environments at national, sectoral, or local levels.
• Has previous experience in conducting studies for international organizations
• Has worked on projects in South Lebanon Lebanon, Mount Lebanon, and North Lebanon (preferable)
• Has excellent communication skills
• Higher education degree from a top-tier English language university
• Fluent in English and Arabic
