Consultant Scope of Work- Data Entry
Period of Performance: 1st March 2023 till 1st May 2023
Level of Effort: The Consultant will work according to the deliverables listed below.
Background: Accountability For Affected Populations (AAP)
Purpose: The purpose of this scope of work is to support the accountability for affected populations (AAP) team in entering new and updated information on the IMC database system
Task Description: Consultant will serve as the data entry clerk for the AAP team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains database by entering feedback and complaints recorded on internal spreadsheet.
- Closely follow data entry instructions and criteria
- Type in data provided directly from the AAP team.
- Reviewing data errors and report to management
- Verify data by comparing it to source log frame.
- Update existing data with new information.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Maintain a data entry log
- Maintain data privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience as data entry clerk
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Basic understanding of databases
- Strong command of English both oral and written
- Great attention to detail
- Has continuous access to laptop or computer.
- Has access to internet connection.
- Previous NGO experience is a plus.

Location: This position is fully remote
Requirements:
- Please note, for Lebanon-based roles, we are only able to accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in Lebanon. Since the position is a national role, we are unable to progress applications that would require sponsorship
- The Consultant needs to have an MoF number he/she will have to provide
