MEAL Officer

LOST is seeking to recruit a MEAL Officer in baalbeck . Under the general supervision and guidance of the Program Director of the "Localized and more accountable, inclusive and coordinated humanitarian response"  project, the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer will be responsible for operationalizing and managing the new MEAL activities of the program, and be in direct relation with LOST MEAL unit.\

Job Description :

•    Synthesize internal and external MEAL process audit results into lessons learned and key action points for LOST in terms of improving standard operating procedures, payout implementations and contingency planning.
•    Develop, manage and maintain an MIS database of LOST and project's log- frame indicators and process audit data and results, ensuring the data collection required to populate the database happens on a regular basis.
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the project's activities, outputs, and outcomes;
• Derive lessons learned and assess impact of the project
•    Selected candidates may be asked to serve in a difficult duty station upon appointment.
•    Conduct training for  staff on  MEAL framework (and MEAL in general), providing guidance on LOST’s MEAL processes and objectives.
•    Provide recommendations on and lead the development and design of the LOST evaluation strategy and assist in its implementation.
•    Lead the further development and refinement of LOST's MEAL framework, log-frame, programme and process audit tools, to ensure these continues to evolve and improve with experience to become the standard.
•    Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

BA in Social Science or any other related field.

3 years of experience in  related field 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English and Arabic.
