Intent to Bid - WS436551083 - IJMAA External Evaluation

With funding from the European Regional Development and Protection program (RDPP) - a multi-donor European initiative supporting Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq - Mercy Corps plans to implement its IJMAA+ program from March 2022 to December 2022 in the Bekaa area. The IJMAA+ program will build on learnings from years of implementation (INTAJ and IJMAA) and will aim to contribute to a reduction in drivers of tension amongst and between Lebanese host communities, refugees, and municipal authorities in the Bekaa through fostering dialogue and peacebuilding mechanisms and providing rapid stabilisation support.

The program focuses on social stability with governance, CBO capacity building, and youth engagement activities. The program will work in up to five municipalities in the Bekaa area with a goal to improve collaborative mechanisms among local government and constituents and build local capacities to support stabilisation needs and reduce drivers of tension.
