Administrative Assistant
Professional Skills and Competencies: • A minimum of 2 years of relevant, practical working experience in development related projects, preferably with hands-on experience in projects implementation; • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.). Language requirements: • Proficiency in English; • Working knowledge in Arabic.
Additional Requirements: • Demonstrates integrity by modelling the LDN’s values and ethical standards; • Promotes the vision, mission, and strategic goals of LDN; Functional Competencies: • Fully proficient computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications, e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, internet, power point and experience in handling of web-based management systems; • Ability and sensitivity to work with a wide cross-section of partners; • Builds strong relationships through team work and needed networking; • Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude; • Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities; • Demonstrated capacity to undertake assigned responsibilities and work under pressure. Main Responsibilities & Duties: • Provides administrative support for project implementation. • Support the day-to-day work guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness. • Monitoring the activities of the project, in articulation with the Project Manage and other employees. Summary of Key Functions: Providing support to projects implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness. • Provides administrative and operation support on implementation of project; • Assist in project’s financial and technical supportive documents; • Supports the reporting process; • Participates in workshops • Follow-up, on a daily basis, with the training coordinators to get the attendance sheets; • To guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the project; • Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation; • Provide logistical support for workshops and other meetings as tasked by the project manager; • Process project-related travel arrangements; • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
