Junior Researcher

Job Description and Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews and analyse them, collect and analyse data, transcription support, and write up findings.
• Prepare interview questions, recruit and/or interview subjects, maintain accurate records of interviews, and safeguard the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary.
• Plan and coordinate the project in close collaboration with the senior research staff.
• Write research proposals and apply for research funds.
• Review and update the Disability Hub website content so it is up to date.
•  Attend project meetings, conferences, seminars, and other meetings as necessary.
• Support in organizing Disability Hub and CLS conferences related to the research project.
• Summarize project results and contribute to preparing progress reports for the senior researchers, PI and funding agency.
• Works with a strict framework of research ethics and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in a field of social sciences who possess sufficient breadth or depth of knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within their area. 
• 2 years of relevant experience in a research environment.

Desirable knowledge and experience:

• Knowledge in inclusive design and inclusion in general.​​​​​​​

The Junior Researcher will report on the above activities to the Post-Doc Researcher and Inclusive Design Expert.
