Call for a Production House
The objective of this assignment is to film, edit, and produce 20 videos of youth meetings with local authorities in 20 communities across Lebanon in the frame of the “Youth Citizens of Today”, a partnership project being implemented with UNICEF during 2021 – 2022. These communities are: Bekaa (Mansoura, Qabb Elias, Rachaya), Baalbeck-Hermel (Charbine El-Hermel, Ras Baalbeck Es-Sahel, Qaa Baalbeck, Fekehe), South (Saida), Nabatieh (Harouf, Nabatieh El Tahta, Hebbariyeh, Toul), Mount Lebanon (Baaqline, Mazboud, Chehim, Aaley, Saoufar), North (Tripoli, Beddawi, Zgharta). In addition, to a one summary video of all the meeting, totaling the videos to 21. The service shall be delivered between 26 November and 20 December 2021.
The Contractor shall perform the following tasks:
- Task 1: film youth meetings with local authorities to be held in each of the 20 communities.
- Task 2: conduct interviews with youth and representatives of local authorities on the side of the meetings.
- Task 3: Post-production and submission of 21 videos including editing, color correction, sound, music (licensed for online use), inserts, from interviews, subtitling, application of logos, and graphical materials according to Masar and UNICEF visibility standards. (20 Communal Videos: maximum of 1.5-minutes per video, and 1 Summary Video: compiling all meetings 2-minutes long).
All shooting cost includes coverage of equipment: HD camera (e.g.: Sony A7 or canon 5D) with necessary accessories (lenses, tripod, neck mic, LED light…), subtitling and coverage of travel expenses.
All original footage and other multimedia materials should be submitted to Masar.
How to apply
To enable you to submit an expression of interest to this call for tenders, please read the attached Annexes I and II
A Tender shall consist of two parts: the technical proposal and the financial proposal.
The technical proposal shall clearly outline the methodology to be adopted or the delivery and warranty details as applicable. Additionally, the proposal shall indicate the eligibility of the applicant and shall annex: CVs as relevant, and a sample of similar work done.
The financial proposal shall indicate the unit prices and total price of the services/ tasks to be supplied. All fees shall be quoted in US Dollars (US$) and shall be all-inclusive.
The Tender prepared and all correspondence and documents relating to this Call for Tenders shall be written in English and have a validity of 90-days after the closing date of bid submission as specified by MASAR Association. A proposal valid for a shorter period may be automatically rejected as non-responsive. MASAR Association may solicit the applicant's consent for an extension of the period of validity under exceptional circumstances. Additionally, Masar Association reserves the right not to grant the bid to any bidder.
