A 30 min webinar on how arts transformed the lives of 2500 women and girls in the Middle East

Thursday May 27th 9:30 AM CET

 

During this webinar, we will launch a final report collecting methods, stories, and results from the Creative Arts for Peace and Equality (CAPE) programme, designed by Clowns Without Borders Sweden, financed by the Folke Bernadotte Academy.

2500 women in the MENA region have undergone the programme, they and us have plenty to share with you! 

The webinar will be moderated by Soledad Piñero Misa, Founder Part of More, Social Capitalist awardee specialist in diversity enrichment, cross-sectoral collaboration, and playful facilitation. Joyful Human Rights Advocate and Resolution 1325 Peace Agent.

 

The speakers:

Sabine Choucair, humanitarian clown, storyteller and performer, trained in social therapy, from Lebanon with the world as her working field. Co-founder of Clown Me In Lebanon, a humanitarian artistic organisation. Speaker at World Economic Forum in Davos and Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development 2017

Mays Sylwan, Program manager, Clowns Without Borders Sweden. Born in Palestine, co-founding member of Palestinian Circus School, long experience from working with women's rights in Palestine using arts. Now based in Sweden and head of Clowns without Borders International programs.
