OBJECTIVES AND RESULTS
UPEL aims through its programs to support and strengthen child protection systems on a local level. It also provides the opportunities for technical support and training for workers who are activists in the child protection sector
For this aim UPEL is seeking proposals from competent Consultants specialized in the field Human Resources to undertake an HR Review of the association and develop an HR Strategy and Manual for the organization.
Scope of work
- propose and develop comprehensive HR Policies and Procedures. This will include policies for recruitment and selection, trainings, performance management system, career planning, compensation, disciplinary rules and employee wellbeing etc.
- Detailed analyses of existing job description of various categories, existing performance management system.
- Clear job descriptions for each specific position in the union; the job descriptions must be aligned with the organizational goals
- Key Performance Indicators for every specific position.
- Periodic performance appraisal format and schedule of all the positions.
- Detailed mechanism for linking the performance with compensation.
- Detailed recruitment planning and execution system.
- Develop a compliance mechanism within the organization
- Develop a warning and disciplinary action system.
Final Report
At the end of the training (within the period of 1 week) the consultant is committed to provide a final report including a written update of the evaluation, listing completed activities.
Consultancy Duration
The consultancy Period will take place between Jan 31 & Feb 18, 2022 ,2021
Skills:
- Demonstrate experience of having undertaken similar assignments
- A Master’s degree in either HRM, Management, Organizational Psychology, Business administration
- Demonstrated experience in developing HRM Manuals for NGOs
- Knowledge of strategic Human Resource Management and an understanding of organizational theory and practice with regard to NGOs.
- Excellent skills in project management demonstrated in previous jobs
- Computer proficiency in standard office applications (Spread sheets, word processing, Internet Explorer.
- Excellent communication Skills.
- Fluency in English.
